i believe u guys had heard of barrack obama playin basketball.. but how gddd of a player is he?? i hav actualli found an article on Hoopedia.. a bball website which is affliated to NBA.COM.. so here's the analysis..
Obama began playing as a child. He had a Dr. J poster on his bedroom wall. His nickname was "Barry O'Bomber." He played for for his high school, the Punahou School, which won the 1979 Hawaii state championship. Though a good ballplayer, the team was loaded with talent, and Obama contributed only two points in the state championship game.
As a law student at Harvard University he learned to play under pressure. He played on a team of law students who took on a team of prisoners. The cons who lined the prison yard court loudly reminded the Harvard boys that they had cigarettes riding on the outcome.

The Times interviewed former NBA All-Star Rickey Green, who has played with Obama. His assessment: "He’s above average, he’s got a nice little left-hand shot and some knowledge of the game."

Another well known US politician, Sarah Palin, is also a gd bball player.. here's the report:
At Wasilla High School in Wasilla, Alaska, Palin was the head of the school Fellowship of Christian Athletes. She was the point guard and captain for the basketball team. She helped the Wasilla Warriors win the Alaska Class 4A (the smallest schools) Girls state championship in 1982, beating Anchorage's Service High School, 58-53. Sarah Heath hit a critical free throw in the last seconds, despite a stress fracture in her ankle. She earned the nickname "Sarah Barracuda" because of her intense play, and was the leader of team prayer before games.
