my final entry 4 the mth ah ehhhhh~~~

now yesterdae the poor recruits were havin their fieldcraft trainin.. and they went 2 the designated SAF forest at lentor.. i tagged along as the cover medic..

so wat i realli did??

i went there and setup my rest area.. lolzz.. firstly i took a folded bench and laid it on the floor under the tent.. then i took my oxygen tank and placed it like a pillow.. and so my bed of the dae is set up.. simple?? now the company 2nd -in-command came in wif yesterdae's newspapers.. i jus took it and read.. and he took some parts of the paper too.. so both of us were readin the papers.. i jus brief thru the news and i took out my book and read.. he was still readin the papers.. so there u ar.. 2 commanders sittin by the tent.. readin..

how lovely..

after he finished readin he left the tent 2 supervise the trainin.. i felt the need 2 sleep.. and so i did.. i slept and slept till lunch time.. i woke up at lunch time and ate.. after lunch some recruits came in unwell and i told them 2 rest.. and so they realli did.. they slept in the tent after consumin some panadol and water.. as i saw them sleepin.. i also feel like sleepin.. and so i did..

so at ard mid afternoon.. u can see tt everyone in the tent were sleepin..

woke up again this time 4 dinner.. as i stood up out from my bed.. the recruits actualli stepped on my bed.. i barked at them not to step.. 1 of them even got a shock tt i shouted at him.. after dinner i felt the urge 2 slp again.. this time my 2IC told me not 2 slp.. well then i tot.. i'll read.. but after readin a while its gettin dark..

then i return back 2 camp at ard 10 plus.. im totally deadbeat..

this mornin it felt like a hangover.. like i had a crazy party last nite and im in a total daze.. whew.. i didnt noe it's so "tirin" doin a medical cover out in the field.. whahahahaa

yeeeahhhhh~~~!! s.h.e endorses casio!! wonderful and superb.. i got this pamphlet from a shop at the outskirts of bishan.. inside contains all the diff watched of baby G.. however i did not get the baby G.. got other watches instead..

i hav been longin 2 hav a watch.. and finally got 1~~!!!!



yeeeeaahhhhhhh~!!!! it's sooo nice... my friendzz tot this costs ard 100 bucks.. but it costs only 60.. wooooo!! wat a great value ehh??




when i stepped into compass pt 2dae.. i realized tt i had actualli so mani things 2 buy and yet so little $$$ 2 spare..

here ar some of these items tt i need.. for a reason..

new headphones - my ear piece was in a bad condition.. the wire had some probs and the coatin of the ear piece came off.. need 2 get it replaced.. i wan 2 get a realli gddd set of headphones so tt i can enjoy my music better..

4GB memory stick - for my psp.. for mths i hav been usin 1GB and i couldn't play high end resolution games.. need more memory so tt i can hav a wider variety of games..

new speaker - my speaker is been quite old and it needs 2 b replaced.. this 1 can hold coz its still in a pretty ok condition..

new watch - for notin the time and to clculate my "pulse rate" when triaging my patients in the med ctr..

the list could go on.. but to tink of splurgin it'll cost me ard 200-300 bucks.. man i may hav 2 spread this spendin for at least 3 mths so tt i can budget..

1 of my solution 2 resist retail therapy is to convince myself tt it's no gddd.. i would reason and debate within myself tt it'll not b worth buyin.. and most of the time the $$$ factor wins..

it all started in ang mo kio st 66, amoy quee camp, when there is a certain medic named CPL rahul was diagnosed wif the "up there" disease.. however.. the doctor did not gave any quarantine others as the disease soon spreaded to the other medics in amoy quee medical ctr..

when the doctor saw this infectious disease is bein spreaded ard.. he ordered the medics 2 b quarantined and he sent emails to the various depts within the camp tt the medics should not by any means, be seen in a cluster gatherin 2gether informally at any parts of the camp durin and after office hrs wif other soldiers in the camp.. when the CO saw the email.. he immediately gave the medics exemption from company orderly duties and camp guard duties.. tt is y till 2dae the medics nv do a single guard duty or an orderly duty in amoy quee camp..

in june.. 3 sgts named farhan.. mirzalee and wEiwEi joined the medics at the med ctr.. unaware of their quarantine status.. the sgts mixed ard and chatted wif them all the time and soon enuff.. they ar also infected wif the disease.. as they ar the company medics.. the doctor sent emails again 2 indicate tt the 3 coy medics should stay at the med ctr as soon as they brought the sick recruits from their coy line 2 the med ctr.. they could onli b released after office hrs and they were advised 2 hav their nites out everydae in order 2 avoid spreadin this disease 2 all the sgts within their respective companies..

however.. it seems tt bravo coy platoon 6 were diagnosed wif the disease as they had the "up there" quote whenever they march and sing.. however.. the disease did not realli spread 2 other platoons as they were immune 2 it.. initially they accused of sgt wEiwEi, who is their coy medic, 4 spreadin the disease 2 the platoon.. however he did not as wEiwEi suggest tt it could b gazali who spreaded the disease as he was previously in gd terms wif bravo coy..

wEiwEi however brought the "up there" disease 2 the cg.. the sisters were immune 2 it as they were in a daze wonderin, "wats up there?? where??" however.. the latest victim of the "up there" disease is his cg mem.. mr alan chan.. where he was seen communicatin wif wEiwEi wif the "up there" quote durin fellowship and MSN..

so wat's the "up there" disease all abt??

2dae i conducted my 1st ever sick parade 4 the recruits in bravo coy..

after i gathered all the sick recruits.. (ahem.. not sickenin.. but jus physically sick..) the OC gave it 2 them by askin them 2 stand in front of the company and said..

"guys.. if u ar realli sick.. touch ur heart 1st b4 reportin 2 the med ctr.. when u see the MO u can request him jus 2 giv u the medicine and NOT status slips indicatin tt u ar excused from trainin.. CLEAR???"

and the ans was a loud "YESSS SIRRRRRRRR~~~".. and also the report sick ppl were afraid.. they obediently followed the words of their OC by optin out their status slips..

but still the daily records of report sick personnel in bravo beat all other companies within the camp..

and its no surprise tt the medics.. and me.. would avoid goin 2 bravo often.. dun believe me.. u can ask 1 of my fellow medics..

"ehh no no.. i dunwan 2 go there ahz.. tell them im not feelin well till 30 nov.." (CPL Gazali, frightened by the words of 1SG Goh where he constantly hounds gazali 2 participate in trainin.. "where's Gazali??" is the famous qn tt gazali would always freak out posed by sgt goh.. and y 30 nov?? becoz the nxt dae he ORD already~~ no pt trainin already~~!!!!)




frustration no.1: when the company has been constantly reportin sick.. u ar to fix the prob.. (where the prob actualli lies on the superiors themselves when they induce tough trainin w/o even considerin the recruits' body condition and fitness levels.. and of coz.. their willingness 2 participate..)

captain ivor, bravo coy officer commandin, highlighted this 2 me when he talked 2 me this mornin.. this is wat he says..

"look.. i dunwan the recruits 2 b constantly reportin sick all the time.. i feel tt too much recruits ar reportin sick.. u may hav 2 monitor them regularly.."

well.. i tot.. i asked some recruits and some claimed tt it was their commanders who wanted them 2 report sick becoz of their nigglin probs.. well i tink the coy had 2 sit down and sort it out wat ar they goin 2 do wif the issue of reportin sick.. perhaps they will change the CSM!! muahahaa.. aiya.. tt's my biggest desire onli lahz..

frustration no.2: u belong 2 HQ.. but u ar attached 2 bravo coy as their coy medic.. the medics ar ur men (logically).. and so is bravo coy's (reasonably).. so who ar ur men actualli??

if i had a choice.. i would choose bravo coy.. why?? most of the medics were familiar wif the system here and they get relaxed and content of wat they hav easily.. whereas the men in bravo coy were fresh recruits.. its easier 2 command them as they were obedient and subsequently they will look up 2 us as a leader.. (well hopefully..)

frustration no.3: so both sides ar ur men.. therefore all the work.. sensical and non-sensical.. belongs 2 u..

alrite this may seems exaggeratin.. coz i do not hav 2 care abt the admin and logistics matters of bravo coy.. however.. medical ctr matters matters 2 me and the medical matters of bravo coy also matters 2 me.. wif 2 matters matters.. i may grow MAD..




i withdrew 50 bucks 2dae.. and its gone..

man.. if i continue spendin the way i did 2dae im in deep trouble.. at least my expenses would b like 600++ a mth.. which excludes tithes and misc bills and shoppin $$$..

in the mornin i took a cab.. a part is gone..

then i gave 2 the offerin.. another part gone..

lunch and returnin daryl's dinner $$$.. another part gone..

treatin xingni and myself 2 coffee.. another part gone..

finally.. toppin up my EZ link value..

ALL IS GONE..

i used 2 tink tt i'll nv spend off 50bucks easily on 1 dae.. (except 4 shoppin and other items which i desired or NEED 2 buy..) but i'll nv expect tt i would actualli did it!!

so eve.. ben and jerry's off!! muahahahaha..




few daes back.. i stumbled into a conversation where the men spoke abt JC students..

"besides goin 2 the top JCs.. the population will b divided like this: most malay students will go TPJC.. indian students will go SRJC.. chinese students will go NYJC.." - CPL gan, 20SA medic..

since i dunno abt the JCs.. i kept quiet.. and i listened further.. gan then went abit too much.. and he said..

"so onli the gd malays go TPJC.. the bad ones and the not so gd ones?? Go 2 JAIL~~"

big brother sufian was there and of coz it aint happi abit it..

and so gan asked him, "so where u go.. sufian??"

"poly lahz.."

"see?? go 2 jail~~"

immediately i burned wif anger (nowadays hav a great temper prob.. so u guys better guai guai.. understand??) and blasted, "ehhh wat jail?? we poly students hav FREEDOM.. and u guys study from dae 2 nite.. nite 2 dae.. and somemore where uniform all dae long.. now tt's BONDAGE... tt's JAIL~"

"oooo.. the burning hatred in ur eyes.." gan immediately tried 2 peace off this matter..

could gan be 1 of those who also sees the divide between the poly and the JC students?? hmmm..




yesterdae as our new med ctr is openin.. there's this irritatin medic spec who goes ard orderin ppl wat 2 do.. and wat's insightly is he actualli commanded my friendz.. who had the SAME RANK as her 2 clean the toilet!!

when i saw tt i realli burn in wrath.. how can she do tt??

let me giv u a brief intro of this prima donna..

3SG huang meifeng amanda.. needless 2 sae.. a female specialist.. and tt makes her a regular.. medic specialist of 20SA battalion.. she's the former senior medic of 20SA.. (do u noe y she's kinda "demoted" in her appt?? i dunno also.. prob becoz she incapable of leadin her own medics.. as such they another senior medic 2 take over her place.. lolzz) somethin 2 note is tt she's a general daughter.. furthermore she tinks she's verii gd.. where in fact our former medical instructors tinks we ar better..

so u see.. bein a general's daughter.. she tot tt she can throw her weight ard.. and also bein a commander she tinks tt she's higher and above then the rest of her men..

i tell u.. gone were the daes of such thinkin.. nowadays the specs and the men mixed 2gether harmoniously.. who does she tink she is?? orderin ppl ard?? EVEN THE PPL WHO HAD HIGHER RANKS WORK 2GETHER WIF US.. WAT MAKES HER TINKS SHE'S THE SUPERVISOR OF ALL THESE WORK??

i greatly condemn such an attitude and behavior.. after all.. she's not effectively contributin 2 our workplace..

had a casual conversation wif him at the bus stop jus now..

wEiwEi: "no... y?? do i look one??"

chee-mundo: "well.. it doesn't realli make any diff aniwae.."


well perhaps at this pt im rather convinced tt most ppl do not classify JC and poly student tt much.. and the divide between this 2 grps is almost invisible.. however.. at this pt i still made my stand clear of the attributes of a poly and JC student..

how i wished tt im some up great artist.. all some anime or comic artist.. so tt i could draw myself of who i am..

times had indeed changed.. i hav grown wiser.. hav a bit more knowledge and im a person holdin a small amt of authority.. also i hav become a person who had 2 take more responsibility of my own life and my own well bein..

before i officially became an adult.. i used 2 dye my hair.. visit terence hairdressin salon every other mth for a unique and fashionable haircut.. everytime i try 2 look gd and diff so tt the ppl will always receive tt surprise element i hav in my looks.. but nowadays weird hairdos and popular haircuts ar out of the qn..

the worse part was presentin myself.. now wearin those clothes of yesterdae doesn't seemed 2 help anymore.. i looked at wat i wear.. nothin changed much.. but when i look at the person who's wearin it.. it seems tt the countenance isn't there anymore..

and when i mingle ard wif ppl.. its a total disaster.. wats previously in my mind is knowledge of the diff jobs and occupations tt ppl do where i could simply click wif them and hav a meaningful conversation.. nowadays wats in my mind is the knowledge of war, army lifestyles and in-camp jokes and life saving skills.. apparently it doesn't click when it comes to chattin wif gals.. adults and ORDed personnels..

nowadays i will attempt 2 "siam" fellowship becoz i will b totally out of place and out of touch.. i tried but it seems tt i could onli do so much due 2 the brain where it's filled wif military stuff.. tt's y i would rather choose 2 do my duties on sun so tt i could skip fellowship..

but how mani sunday duties do i hav?? how long can i do tt??

tt's y somehow im inspired 2 draw myself.. 2 wat i might hav been.. (not my own portrait lahz.. coz i hav pics of my prev self mahz..)
