now b4 i go on.. i would like 2 define the term "meetings"

according to the merriam-webster dictionary.. the definition of a meeting is an act or process of coming together as an assembly for common purpose (as worship)

usually.. the sequence goes like this in a meeting in a corporate sector:

- members of the meeting arrives punctually, seated down and started

- appointed members of the meeting will speak and give presentations and reports. At any point of time, members of the meeting were not allowed to speak except those who had higher authority than the appointed speakers

- the leader of the meeting will then address the issues pertaining, thus giving feedback 2 the members in the meeting.. minutes ar actualli taken from the secretary..

- the members will then raise concerns and questions over the words from the leader.. after which the meeting is over..

therefore the members of the meeting would not noe wats the purpose of the meeting till it was revealed at the words of the leader or worse still, at the end of the meeting..

however.. cell grp meetings ar conducted like this..

- members of the cell grp arrives, be it late or punctual, seated down and started. so there's praise and worship..

- members ar allowed 2 share their lives testimonies.. whenever they hav somethin tt's worth 2 share 2 glorify God.. however.. some may argue tt the the sharing is actualli appointed by God Himself.. as it was God tt bless us on the work of our hands..

- the leader of the cell grp will then share the word of God.. a metaphor 2 the issues pertaining.. however.. no secretary was present (or even appointed) to take down the minutes but rather.. it was the members tt were takin down minutes, or rather notes of the sermon.. lolzz

- the members would rarely raise concerns and issues abt the sermon, and the cell grp leader ensures tt the whole cell grp understands the sermon.. not 2 4get there's the offering.. and after which is fellowship..

members of a cell grp will not noe the purpose of a cell grp meeting and would not noe until they hav a revelation from God as it was not preached.. (note: it was onli preached of the purpose and the existence of a cell group.. not a cell group meeting.. i hope u guys can see the difference..)

now which is wrong in the usage of the word "meeting"?? izzit the corporate sector or the cell groups? if so, what word should be replaced?

i do not noe abt this matter.. will hav 2 seek clarification from my beloved readers..
