tHe HaNds tHaT ToUcH
she sat there and hold my hand.. grateful tt im there 2 see her.. i looked at her intently and i wish her well..
she pointed 2 me her injured scar on her lips.. fell down yesterdae and the lips on the inner and the outer side were badly injured and she lost 1 artificial tooth.. once again i looked at her.. and i believe tt the injury was a small matter.. the most impt thing is tt she gets well.. and recover from her severe migrane and get discharged..
after she consumed the hot beverage and some biscuits.. the migrane took off.. it was her 1st attack since 2 daes ago and my relatives were quite shocked.. my uncle quickly gave her some medicated oil for the head.. aunt pointed out tt she saw some blood clots on the head.. as doctors suspected tt she might hav a little bit of stroke.. i touched her forehead and confirmed my fears.. the blood stream is runnin heavily in the area of her forehead.. i mus stop the run..
i was a little hesistant at 1st.. but as i stood up and walk out from the bed.. allowin my uncles 2 tok 2 her.. i saw her countenance changed so badly.. the smile and the radiance has gone from her and she looked so fluttered lyin on the bed and she had depreciated so much.. my heart hurts when i see tt.. at the moment i felt like excusin myself and go 2 one corner and cry it out.. but i tot tt i'll do wat i can 2 help her..
i got some towels from the nurses and dipped them under some tap water.. i lifted her head and slowly sponged the forehead areas.. slowly and gently i rub the forehead wif the towels.. as i navigate my hands ard her head.. i ask her softly, "does it feel comfortable??" and the ans was, "yes.." i kept quiet and continued my spongin.. few mins later im done.. and suddenly i saw her openin her eyes and she looked more positive this time.. and i could hear her speakin in a healthy voice, "it makes me feel so comfortable after u did tt to me.."
my relatives immediately tot tt the wet cloths does help her 2 reduce the pain.. 2 b honest i do not noe whether this will help.. and i doubt this CAN help.. butall i noe was when the "human touch" factor was applied over her life.. she will feel better and she would summon strength 2 fight and overcome her sickness.. my relatives didnt realize tt as they were concerned on providin the necessary stuff 4 her 2 get well w/o even considerin the "human touch" factor
after which.. she felt tired.. and as i bid her goodbye.. she reached out her hand again.. this time she touched my (oily) face.. "take care" was wat she said 2 me.. and it was wat i said 2 her too in reply..
