i spent some of my afternoon watchin my romance of three kingdoms 4 the 543463278th time but this time i've actualli learnt somethin new..
it was the episode where the greatest military strategist of all time, zhuge liang, led an army against the rebellin troops of nanman.. and each time when zhuge liang devises plans, the leader of nanman, meng huo, is bound 2 b captured.. each time he was released when he was captured and finally he was captured at the 6th time.. this time zhuge liang asked him again, "ar u convicted by ur defeat already??" he still gave a stern "NO!!" and finally after the 7th time.. he gav up and surrendered to zhuge liang.. creatin a legendary 7-times-catch-and-release (七擒七纵) story..
and upon watchin this story 4 the umpteenth time again and i began 2 wonder.. izzit me tt was too cruel to the ppl who disobey and gone astray?? i wan them 2 learn from their mistakes and yet i realized tt they would usu learn after they hav gotten somethin hard 2 swallow..
jesus says tt we mus forgiv 70x 7 times against the ppl who had sinned against us.. in the story the nanman king meng huo was so touched by the mercy and grace tt was given by zhuge liang.. and 4 a moment i tot tt zhuge liang was a pic of Jesus Christ.. whereby he actualli wanted meng huo 2 submit 2 him thru love..
perhaps i should love and understand more.. anyway it is this broken down world tt meeds love and concern and not wat they mus do 2 become whole again.. it was perhaps.. a gdd story 2 learn..
