for 3 yrs.. i hav been takin bus 86, 27 and 23 to reach a famous institution call temasek polytechnic.. however.. since yesterdae after the last paper ended.. i knew in my heart tt it will b the last i see of this sch..
it's been an amazin 3 yrs.. i realli thank all the ppl who realli influenced me well in TP.. however more importantly.. this entry is to honor the top 5 lecturers/tutors which i felt made the most impact 2 my life..
the names were not in order as i prefer not 2 rank them..
Mrs Valerie Tong
though my 1st impression of her is tt she was a strict and demandin teacher.. but when she come 2 work.. she is verii on focused and serious.. also she is always the "captain" of the class where she steers our class into great achievers.. theerfore in our HR project nobody get lesser than B+ in grades.. but as we get 2 noe her more.. she is actualli rather friendly when we meet her outside the classroom.. the BIG were also blessed under her management and she expressed imminent concerns towards the entire grp..

when she sees me comin into the class room wif gold blond hair.. she immediately called me 2 stay back after class 2 discuss abt this issue.. she sae, "look.. im the discipline mistress in this sch.. u got me into quite a fix.. u gotta dye back a dark color or i'll had corrective action against u.." havin said tt i obediently dyed back and she was happi.. though she was my APEL tutor cum my careperson onli 4 1 yr.. im glad tt i met her as she was realli realli friendly.. furthermore she trusted in me so much tt when i applied an LOA she gave consent without even noticin tt i did not hav an official letter!!
Mrs Lim Pek Lin
b4 i actualli saw her i was told this name was the course mgr of the dip in biz.. soon after when i see her.. she impressed me greatly by the firmness and the wisdom she had forseen.. soon later she stepped down as course mgr and became my LO durin my SIP.. i felt tt 1 of her successful factors of bein a lecturer is tt she can relate 2 the students well and at the same time, earned the respect she deserved.. therefore i hadn't got a bad word abt Mrs Lim.. despite the fact tt she missed some impt dates durin the SIP period she knew wat 2 do becoz she seek 1st the purpose.. not the duty..

part of the reason tt he was voted 1 of the best lecturers in my choice is tt he gave me an A in my sociology project!! lolzz.. and this is 1 of those tutors i'll nv 4get.. i enjoyed myself greatly when i was in his class of sociology as he realli reinforce a discussive environment in the class.. also i met him outside many a times and we jus chatted abt our work and agenda.. surprisingly he could jus relate his stuff 2 me jus like a friendz.. however.. i still respect him greatly as a wonderful tutor.. cheers..

i couldn't rem his full name but 1 thing i noe is tt he could actualli influence a class veri well.. firstly he demands the class 2 ask qns 4 the concepts tt were not clear in lectures.. secondly he delibrately writes a wrong ans so tt the students would actualli spot an error and correct it.. this was done so as 2 keep the students from copyin blindly.. initially his reinforcements wasn't workin.. but as daes goes by there seemed 2 b an influence over the class.. and i felt tt it was a gd teachin method 2 pick up..
