yesterdae when i read the papers.. i saw this controversy debate on whether the gifted students ar on an island unto themselves when they ar potentially the nxt generation of leaders of singapore.. and as i read on.. i saw the opinion of a student sayin tt they were not wrong in doin so.. however... the older genration of leaders felt tt they should hav interacted more wif other groups of ppl in the society.. as such a debate sparked off jus like this..
well in my opinion the students were not wrong when they hang out among themselves and form their own clique.. but they should balance themselves by havin an awareness of the affairs of the current society.. too much of either way can lead to harm.. the gifted students could not soar like eagles if they hang ard wif turkeys all the time.. but they should not isolate themselves wif the outside world completely when they hang ard wif their own clique too much..
see??? it's so easi.. this solution is 4 the now.. but the solution had already written down more than 2000 yrs in the bible in the book of proverbs, where king solomon sae tt "an imbalance weight is an abomination unto the LORD.." if onli these gifted students learn to read the bible.. then they would hav peace in their hearts when they ar hangin ard wif their friendz..
some time back i loved this kind of debates.. i always chose 2 condemn things tt ar opposing my life.. in this case i would hav agreed wif the papers totally... but the bible tells me 2 "avoid foolish disputes and genealogies.." and i felt tt the solution mentioned above is pratical and biblical.. i take neither sides this time.. becoz i noe comin out wif a solution is better than pointin the finger at ppl..
